Averna, powered by Spherea, designs and develops electrical and electronic hardware for bespoke test systems from concept to customer acceptance. The role is based in Bournemouth with occasional travel within the UK and overseas.

You will work with engineers across software, mechanics and production, ensuring that designs meet safety, reliability and cost targets while supporting verification and validation activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Formación

• Degree or equivalent in electronic/electrical/aerospace engineering or related field.
• Experience in an electrical/electronic hardware design role across engineering lifecycle.
• Ability to produce clear electrical schematics and supporting docs.
• Familiarity with cost, schedule, risk and configuration control in projects.
• UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.

Responsabilidades

• Analyse customer and system requirements and develop hardware solutions.
• Design electrical/electronic hardware for automated and manual test systems.
• Define interfaces between test system and equipment; assist PCB development.
• Produce specifications, schematics, wiring diagrams, BOMs and tests.
• Prepare hardware costings and participate in design reviews.
• Ensure designs meet safety, reliability and cost targets.
• Collaborate with procurement, production and project teams.
• Support verification, installation, commissioning and customer acceptance.
