Job Description:

Hardware Development Engineer (Electronics) – Salisbury (Onsite) – £50,000

Join a growing engineering team designing the systems behind next-generation Uncrewed Aerial Vehicles. These aircraft are already out there mapping deforestation and serving classified defence projects that push the edge of innovation.

Why Join?

  • You’ll see your work in flight: your designs will end up in the air, not just in development cycles.
  • Hands-on innovation: soldering, prototyping, problem solving — all part of the role.
  • A business on the rise: with significant investment and a growing platform of UAV projects, now is the time to get involved.
  • Room to grow: training, mentoring, and exposure to various aircraft projects will support your development beyond electronics.
  • Solid benefits: private healthcare, enhanced parental leave, flexible hours, and a pension matching up to 6%.

You’re an electronics engineer who wants to see things fly. Confident in your design skills, calm under pressure, and collaborative with mechanical, software, and systems teams.

This role involves designing core electronics for aircraft, including digital electronics, schematics, layouts, and debugging power systems. Aircraft sizes vary from several meters to palm-sized, offering broad electronic challenges.
