Electus Recruitment is seeking an Analogue and Digital Electronic Design Engineer for a permanent role in Stevenage. You will design, develop and deliver board-level analogue and digital electronics, perform schematic capture, prototyping and testing, and work with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate electronics into defence products.

The role requires qualifications in Electronic Engineering (HND or degree), proven design experience, and capability with circuit simulation and DFMEA.

My client, a world leader in the defence sector, requires an Electronic Design Engineer to join their Analogue and Digital Electronics Group, developing and delivering electronic designs for their defence products.

Analogue and Digital Electronic Design Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking a permanent engineer to design, develop and deliver board-level analogue and digital electronics. The role involves schematic capture, prototyping, functional testing and proving activities, as well as working with other teams on the integration of electronics into the product. You will apply circuit simulation and DFMEA techniques to ensure robust electronics design and support the product lifecycle from feasibility to production.

Hybrid working: Circa 2‑3 days on-site
Salary: £42,000 - £48,000 DOE plus paid overtime, flexi leave, annual bonus and other benefits.
