Job summary

Adecco is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician for Newcastle (Grainger Town) on a temporary basis starting mid September 2026. The role focuses on keeping properties safe, functional and well presented, with an emphasis on reliable repairs and responsive service to residents.

You will perform routine inspections and carry out general repairs across plumbing, electrical and carpentry tasks, while maintaining records and a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance or property repair experience.
• Good knowledge of building systems, including plumbing and electrical.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Relevant qualifications are desirable.
