We are seeking a dedicated Escort / Fabric Operative to join our team at HMP Woodhill, a high-security adult male prison.

Join a team that works Monday to Friday as a supportive and driven family, creating a safe and nurturing environment.

HMP Woodhill operates like a self-contained city, requiring hundreds of staff to ensure smooth functioning. As part of the Facilities Maintenance Team, your work will impact prisoners, staff, visitors, and the wider community.

As an Escort / Fabric Operative, you will collaborate with experienced colleagues such as Plumbers, Electricians, Carpenters, Painters, Cleaners, and Administrators, all dedicated to maintaining a safe environment.

We are a Ministry of Justice business providing critical services to HMPPS. The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in a prison environment
• Experience with hand and power tools
• Experience in building fabric / Hard FM environment
• Up-to-date First Aid at Work qualification
• Level 2 qualification in English and Maths
• Good Health & Safety knowledge
• Excellent organizational, time management, and people skills
