Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking an experienced Handyperson for an ongoing project in Hailsham, East Sussex. The role focuses on high-quality finishing work on-site and ensuring surfaces are prepared to a premium standard.

The position requires a valid CSCS card, your own PPE and tools, and the ability to provide two recent finishing-related references. Start date is Monday, 3rd August, 2026, with pay at £19.50 per hour for an 9-hour day.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS card required for site access.
• Own PPE: hard hat, steel-toe boots, high-visibility jacket/vest.
• Own tools suitable for handyperson/finishing tasks.
• Right to Work in the UK; able to provide 2 recent finishing-related references.

Responsibilities

• Make good wall surfaces and finishes on site.
• Apply mastic/sealing as needed.
• Carry out minor woodwork and snagging tasks.
• Perform basic painting and decorating.

About the Role

Randstad is currently recruiting for an experienced Handyperson for an ongoing project in Hailsham.

We are looking for a reliable and skilled operative to carry out high-quality finishing works on-site.

Key Responsibilities

• Making good wall surfaces and finishes
• Mastic application (sealing)
• Minor woodwork and snagging tasks
• Basic painting and decorating

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A valid CSCS Card
• Your own full PPE (Hard hat, steel toe boots, high-vis jacket/vest)
• Your own tools suitable for handyperson / finishing tasks
