Join to apply for the Handyperson role at Gov Facility Services Ltd (GFSL)

We are seeking a dedicated Handyperson to join our team at GFSL. This role involves working at HMP Feltham, a facility comprising Feltham A (a 15-18 year old male prison) and Feltham B (an adult male prison).

Location: HMP Feltham, Bedfont Rd, Feltham, TW13 4NP

Salary: £25,739.13 per annum

Contract: Permanent, 39 hours per week

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs within the prison environment
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Work alongside a team of skilled professionals including plumbers, electricians, carpenters, painters, cleaners, and administrators

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience in a prison environment
• Experience with hand and power tools
• Previous experience in building fabric / Hard FM environment
• Up-to-date First Aid at Work Qualification
• Level 2 qualification in English and Maths
• Good Health & Safety knowledge
• Strong organisational, time management, and interpersonal skills
