CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) in Aberdeen is seeking an experienced Fabric Engineer to perform maintenance, repairs and installation tasks across building services. You will liaise with clients and oversee contractors, ensuring high standards of safety and workmanship on site.

The role requires basic electrical and plumbing skills, PC literacy and a proactive, client-focused approach. Overtime is available to support project needs and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience working in high-profile environments.
• Willingness to learn and adapt on site.
• PC literate and able to use basic software.
• Strong customer relationship skills are desired.

Responsabilités

• Prepare & apply paint, wallpaper and finishes to surfaces.
• Repair doors, tables and other general equipment.
• Move and build equipment across the site.
• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance across building services systems.
• Carry out basic electrical & plumbing works.
• Oversee contractors and suppliers on site.
• Liaise with client representatives regarding maintenance tasks.
• Use PDA to complete works and provide updates.
• Ensure all works are carried out safely in line with Health & Safety regulations.

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management.

We are recruiting an experienced Fabric Engineer to join the team located in Aberdeen!

The Role:

• Prepare & apply paint, wallpaper and other finishes to surfaces.
• Repair doors, tables and other general equipment.
• Move/build equipment across the site.
• Perform preventative & reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and implement effective repairs across all building services systems.
• Basic electrical & plumbing works.
• Oversee contractors / suppliers around site.
• Liaise with Clients representatives with respect to maintenance & repair tasks
• Responsible for other building and installation works as required.
• Utilise PDA to complete works, key communications & updates.
• Ensure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with Health and Safety at Work Regulations.

Working Hours

• 7.30am - 4.30pm
• Monday to Friday
• Overtime available!

Experience Required

• Experience of working in high profile work environment
• A good attitude & willingness to learn is essential
• PC literate
• Good Customer relationship skills
