Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance tasks.
• Knowledge of plumbing and electrical repairs is beneficial.
• Ability to handle minor repairs and painting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct minor repairs including fixing doors and windows.
• Perform plumbing tasks, such as unblocking sinks and toilets.
• Carry out electrical checks and minor fixes.

Job description

General maintenance in student accommodation to ensure the property remains safe, clean, and in good working condition for residents.

Responsibilities include:

1. Minor repairs (e.g., fixing doors, windows, furniture, and fixtures)
2. Plumbing work (unblocking sinks/toilets, fixing leaks)
3. Electrical checks and repairs (changing lightbulbs, checking sockets, reporting faults)
4. Painting and decorating minor areas as required
5. Responding to maintenance requests from residents or management
6. Routine inspections to identify hazards or necessary repairs
7. Basic groundskeeping (tidying entrances, bin areas, etc.)
8. Ensuring health & safety standards are met at all times
