Job summary

Charing Healthcare in Maidstone is seeking a Handyman for a full-time role, working 08:00–16:00, Monday to Friday, at Chippendayle Lodge Care Home. The position offers £15.00 per hour in the UK.

The role covers daily maintenance, decorating vacated rooms, and garden upkeep, with out-of-hours call outs as needed. Candidates should have experience in painting and tiling and be capable of general repairs to support a high-quality care environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in painting and tiling required.

Responsibilities

• Check the maintenance book daily and carry out repairs as necessary.
• Decorate vacated rooms following correct procedure.
• Keep the gardens well maintained: cut grass, dig borders, weed and replant where there is no gardener.
• General maintenance on a day-to-day basis.
• Out of Hours Call outs if required.
