Job summary

Chippendayle Lodge Care Home in Harrietsham near Maidstone, Kent is seeking a part-time Housekeeper. The role offers 16.5 hours per week with an hourly rate of £12.75. You will be responsible for keeping resident areas clean and safe and for handling laundry in accordance with guidelines.

Experience in care or housekeeping is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. This is a hands-on role within a care home environment.

• Previous experience in Care or housekeeping preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• To make full use of the appropriate equipment and ensure all designated areas are clean, tidy and free from hazards at all times.e.g. trailing wires
• To ensure laundry is sorted in accordance with the manufacturer’s label, and laundered as it should be. Iron these items and return to the residents bedroom and put away into the appropriate cupboard/wardrobe etc.
