Riverside Recruitment is recruiting for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join a busy food production business near Penrith, Cumbria. This role involves not just desk-based planning but day-to-day production scheduling, setting up machinery and ensuring smooth operations across the site.

You will review orders each morning, plan production, coordinate with teams, monitor schedules and drive improvements. A practical, numbers-focused communicator will thrive here in a fast-paced manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Review customer orders each morning.
• Plan and schedule production requirements.
• Work out the most efficient way to meet demand.
• Set up machinery for production.
• Coordinate with production teams throughout the day.
• Monitor schedules and adjust as needed.
• Work with figures, quantities, timings and production data.
• Identify and solve problems quickly.
• Support the implementation of new processes and improvements.
• Help improve efficiency across the operation.
• Ensure orders are produced and ready on time.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the business.
