Job summary

SYOS Aerospace is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join the founding Quality team at our UK facility. You will own supplier quality and incoming inspection, qualifying and onboarding suppliers, and leading PPAP to ensure parts meet stringent standards before production.

You will partner with Supply Chain, Engineering and Production to resolve issues, drive root-cause analysis, and manage supplier audits across UK and international suppliers, with travel as required.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace or regulated manufacturing with audits and PPAP.
• Experience with EN 9102 First Article Inspection.
• Knowledge of GD&T and dimensional inspection.
• Familiar with BPSS and travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess, approve and onboard suppliers using a risk-based approach.
• Manage supplier PPAP from start to finish.
• Lead supplier audits and PPAP entry to EN 9102.
• Establish incoming inspection processes and CMM capability.
• Drive supplier corrective actions and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Engineering and Production.
