Job summary

Second Star Games is seeking a hands-on Social Media & Marketing Manager to grow the audience for Neverland: A Peter Pan Adventure.

You will plan, shoot and edit content, write copy in the studio voice, and drive the editorial calendar across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, X and Steam while helping shape the wider marketing campaign. Based in our Warrington studio, you will collaborate closely with developers and use real stories to engage players.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to launch or grow social channels for a game studio or entertainment brand.
• Experience contributing to at least one PC/console game campaign during development/launch.
• Portfolio of video work planned, shot and edited end-to-end (long-form and short-form).
• Strong on-camera interviewing and storytelling capabilities.
• Excellent copywriting and editorial judgement across platforms.
• Familiarity with scheduling, publishing and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and run the social media and content strategy for Second Star Games and Neverland.
• Plan and manage an editorial calendar across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, X and Steam.
• Create content from concept to publish, including scripts, interviews, shooting, editing, captions, thumbnails and publishing.
• Lead a recurring developer-diary series and facilitate authentic interviews with developers.
• Turn source material into long-form videos, Shorts, Reels, TikToks, stills and posts.
• Write clear, distinctive copy in the studio voice for the game and campaigns.
• Help deliver product marketing and go-to-market calendars for Neverland launches and communications.
• Support paid media and creator tests and optimize spend from results.
• Monitor comments, audience response and share insights with the team.
• Track performance across reach, engagement, retention, traffic, sentiment and wishlist contributions.
