Job summary

EAG Bioenergy, a fast growing renewable energy business, is seeking a Site Supervisor for its anaerobic digestion plant near Shrewsbury. You will oversee day-to-day operations, coordinate feedstock deliveries, liaise with suppliers and contractors, and ensure safe, compliant site performance.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or coordinating operations within waste management, anaerobic digestion, utilities, water treatment, recycling or similar industrial environments.
• Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Confident coordinating deliveries, contractors and day-to-day site activities.
• Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work and respond to operational issues.
• Experience maintaining operational records, inspections and compliance documentation.
• Strong communication skills with the confidence to work independently and liaise with multiple stakeholders.
• Hands-on approach with the ability to support operational teams where required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the facility, coordinating feedstock deliveries and liaising with suppliers and contractors.
• Monitor site activities and ensure everything runs smoothly, prioritise workloads and maintain operational standards.
• Ensure environmental and health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Support routine inspections, maintain accurate operational records, coordinate maintenance activities and monitor stock levels.
• Keep the site audit ready and be visible on site to make decisions and solve problems as they arise.
