Job summary

RenEco is seeking a Senior Plant Supervisor to lead shift operations across its AD plant, biogas upgrading, compression, CO2 liquefaction and BioLNG production, including food waste depackaging and raw material preparation. You will oversee the control room and SCADA systems to maintain process performance and safety.

The role requires hands-on SCADA experience, strong leadership, and a solid understanding of complex multi‑stage plant processes, with a focus on Health & Safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Significant experience supervising liquids and gases in anaerobic digestion or biogas upgrading.
• Hands-on SCADA and control room experience.
• Strong leadership and coaching capabilities; safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations across AD plant, biogas upgrading, compression, CO2 liquefaction and BioLNG production, including control room and SCADA systems.
• Supervise food waste depackaging and raw material preparation to ensure high-quality feedstock.
• Report on and optimise plant performance using SCADA trend data and process analysis; resolve faults.
• Manage safety of personnel and contractors on site.
• Induct and supervise contractors, issue safety work permits, maintain site housekeeping, and develop shift team.

Job Overview

To align with RenEco’s growth strategy we have a fantastic opportunity for a SeniorPlant Supervisor to join the team!You will lead shift operations across our AD plant, biogas upgrading, compression, CO2 liquefaction and BioLNG production, including food waste depackaging, raw material preparation and the control room's SCADA systems; demonstrating strong leadership and coaching capabilities. This role operates a4 on 4 off,12-hour shift pattern (including nights), with responsibility for the site during night shifts.

Main Duties

Operations

• Lead shift operations across the AD plant, biogas upgrading, compression, CO2 liquefaction and BioLNG production, running the control room and SCADA systems
• Supervise food waste depackaging and raw material preparation to ensure a consistent, high-quality feedstock supply
• Report on and optimise plant performance, identifying and resolving faults using SCADA trend data and process analysis
• Manage the safety of personnel and contractors on the site

Maintenance and Troubleshooting

• Liaise with engineers to troubleshoot process mal-performance across all plant areas, including material reception and preparation, AD, gas upgrading and BioLNG systems
• Assist management in the raising and review of non-conformances
• Work with the Quality Manager to ensure product specifications (biomethane, L-CO2 and BioLNG) are consistently met
• Approve procedures and risk assessments for routine and reactive maintenance

As a Senior Plant Supervisor your duties will also include induction/supervision of contractors, issuing safety work permits, site wide housekeeping, and leading and developing your shift team.

The Person

We are looking for a pro‑active, experienced supervisor with significant experience working with liquids and gases, ideally from anaerobic digestion or biogas upgrading. You will bring hands‑on SCADA and control room experience, a strong understanding of complex, multi-stage plant processes, demonstrated leadership, and sound knowledge of Health & Safety legislation.
