Job summary

Green & Fortune is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager for Sea Containers in London. Lead the restaurant and retail operations, delivering exceptional guest experiences while managing teams across multiple outlets, including café and staff dining.

The role requires hands-on leadership, commercial awareness and strong collaboration with kitchen, bar, events and management. You’ll be responsible for standards, guest satisfaction, and day-to-day operations, with a focus on consistency,

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing a busy restaurant operation.
• Hands-on leadership with a visible presence on the floor.
• Strong food and beverage knowledge; ability to communicate menus and allergens.
• Experience leading, coaching and developing teams.
• Good commercial and operational awareness including rotas, labour planning, stock control and cost management.
• Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen, bar, events and management teams.
• Experience overseeing multiple outlets is advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of food safety, health & safety and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Be a key on-floor leader, ensuring standards, pace, organisation and attention to detail during service.
• Lead, motivate and develop restaurant and retail teams with clear expectations.
• Champion a guest-first culture; convey menus and product knowledge and handle guest feedback and service recovery.
• Support commercial performance through labour planning, stock control, and cost management.
• Oversee the café and staff dining outlets, maintaining high standards of service and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with Head Chef, kitchen, bar, events and wider management for bookings, VIPs and menus.
