Job summary

Castle Employment Agency Ltd is seeking a hands-on QA Technician for a temporary 3-month role on a busy food and drink manufacturing site in West Yorkshire. You will perform quality checks, support audits and work with Production to meet standards.

Working Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm, on-site duties include inspections, maintaining documentation, and helping with non-conformances and corrective actions.

Qualifications

• Previous QA, QC or Quality Technician experience.
• Experience in food or drink manufacturing.
• Understanding of food safety and quality standards.
• Knowledge of BRCGS or similar standards advantageous.
• Experience carrying out factory inspections or quality checks.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Carry out quality checks and inspections throughout production.
• Check finished products against agreed specifications.
• Identify and report deviations and non-conformances.
• Complete factory inspections and support internal audits.
• Support BRCGS, customer and wider food safety standards.
• Maintain accurate Quality Management System documentation.
• Work closely with Production and Technical teams to resolve quality issues.
• Assist with corrective and preventative actions.
• Support preparation for customer and external audits.
• Ensure quality and food safety records are completed accurately.
