Job summary

Henderson Brown Recruitment is partnering with a leading food manufacturer to recruit a QA Technologist for the Technical and Quality function in Leicester. This permanent, hands-on role focuses on problem solving, challenging standards and working closely with Production to ensure safe, legal, authentic and consistently high-quality products reach customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA, technical QC or food safety in FMCG environments.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP, BRCGS and food safety regulations.
• Analytical, organisational and communication skills; ability to influence peers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily QA activities, audits and verification checks to uphold food safety and BRCGS compliance.
• Investigate non-conformances with root cause analysis and risk assessment to implement corrective actions.
• Monitor raw materials, analyse quality data and support validation/improvement projects for Right First Time performance.
• Collaborate with Production and suppliers, offering technical guidance on food safety, quality and authenticity, and train SOPs.
