Job summary

CV Technical is seeking a QA Technician for a hands-on role in a food manufacturing environment in Coventry. You will perform quality checks, support GMP/GLP compliance, and help maintain site quality standards while collaborating with the production team.

The position operates on a 4 on 4 off shift, with permanent day or night options. You will collect samples, conduct tests, and investigate issues to drive continuous quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a QA/Quality role in a food manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of GMP and GLP.
• HACCP knowledge.
• Level 3 Hygiene qualification.
• Experience carrying out quality checks and audits.
• Understanding of food safety and quality systems.
• Good attention to detail and accurate record keeping.
• Ability to investigate issues and identify root causes.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out quality and food safety checks throughout the production process.
• Monitoring production against the site's Quality and Food Safety Plan.
• Collecting samples and carrying out testing.
• Conducting GMP and GLP checks across the manufacturing environment.
• Carrying out on-line quality and food safety monitoring.
• Carrying out calibration checks and reporting equipment outside of tolerance.
• Maintaining QA and production records.
• Supporting investigations into customer complaints and identifying root causes.
