You will lead the production team, operate machinery, and coordinate day-to-day activities, workloads, stock, and supplier liaison while ensuring health & safety and driving quality systems.

Qualifications

• Must have previous supervisory experience.
• Proven experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Hands-on experience setting and running machinery.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
• Confident communicator with suppliers and customers.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• IT literate.

Responsibilities

• Work hands-on within the production team, including operating machinery.
• Manage and coordinate all day-to-day production activities.
• Plan and schedule workloads across operatives and machinery.
• Oversee stock control, purchasing, and supplier coordination.
• Ensure high standards of health & safety and provide staff training.
• Maintain and improve quality control systems.
• Plan preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Coordinate transport and logistics.
