Wallace Hind Selection is seeking a hands-on Product Manager to bridge technical, manufacturing and purchasing functions from our Staffordshire base. The role combines strategic product development with practical, day-to-day delivery in a hybrid office setting.

You will lead a small team, develop product proposals, monitor market trends, and ensure packaging and specifications align with brand standards while supporting promotional activities and data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in product development, product marketing and product placement.
• Experience using data to influence stakeholders from multiple departments to shape sales and marketing strategy.
• Hands-on candidate who enjoys the variety and fast pace of a technical manufacturing business.

Responsabilités

• Manage and review products throughout their life cycle, from concept to launch to rationalisation or withdrawal.
• Develop proposals for new products and supporting launch programmes.
• Monitor competitor products, market trends, pricing, promotions and distribution activity.
• Carry out regular market analysis to stay aware of competition and economic indicators.
• Maintain accurate product specifications, technical information and packaging data.
• Take responsibility for packaging requirements and future packaging developments, ensuring brand alignment.
• Support promotional activity and use data analysis to assess effectiveness.
