Job summary

Thorlabs is seeking a hands-on Product Assembler to join the Tables Accessories unit at our Ely facility, just 12 miles from Cambridge. You will complete final assembly of table accessories and assist with Vibration Isolation Systems and MB Breadboard inspection as needed.

The role requires a practical, detail-oriented approach in a manufacturing environment, good communication skills, and the ability to work within a team to meet production targets. Onsite training and development are provided.

Responsibilities

• Assemble table accessories from parts to packed product.
• Maintain high stock accuracy through precise kitting.
• Interpret work orders and assembly instructions correctly.
• Work in an allocated team to meet manufacturing targets.
• Process paperwork accurately.
• Support development of workplace initiatives and cross-training.
• Assist and drive quality and performance improvements.
• Be willing to learn and support other assembly roles within Tables Business Unit.
