Job summary

Andrews Recruitment Group is recruiting an Operations Supervisor for a ready-mixed concrete business in Stratford-upon-Avon. This hands-on supervisory role oversees production, batching, and delivery operations to meet customer orders.

The ideal candidate has experience in concrete production, batching plants, aggregates or similar heavy industrial environments and a proactive, safety-focused approach. A company vehicle is included.

Qualifications

• Experience in ready-mixed concrete or heavy industrial production.
• Prior supervisory or junior management experience.
• Understanding of batching plants and production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production and batching operations at the facility.
• Coordinate batching, dispatch and deliveries to meet orders.
• Schedule and utilise vehicles, plant and personnel effectively.
• Communicate priorities and customer requirements to teams.
• Monitor activity and flag delays or issues.
• Support safe operation of batching equipment and machinery.
• Liaise with drivers, batching staff, customers and management.
• Coordinate maintenance and report defects.
• Ensure housekeeping and safety standards are met.
• Assist training and development of staff.
• Escalate significant issues to the General Manager.
