Job summary

Verso Recruitment Group in Royston invites an early-career Operations Engineer to join a growing, technology-focused business. You'll work hands-on across equipment, installations, troubleshooting and improvements, building on a recent engineering degree or practical experience.

You’ll contribute to performance and reliability, support projects, and collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimise processes.

Qualifications

Recent engineering degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
Hands-on approach to engineering and problem-solving.
Willingness to travel to customer sites.

Responsibilities

Support the day-to-day performance and reliability of technical equipment.
Investigate faults, troubleshoot issues and help identify long-term solutions.
Assist with equipment installations, upgrades and improvements.
Work with engineering and production teams to improve processes and equipment performance.
Support maintenance activities and ensure equipment is kept in good working order.
Contribute to projects involving new installations and technical developments.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability and ways of working.
Work with colleagues and customers to resolve technical challenges.
