Salt is seeking a hands-on Senior Engineering Manager - Mobile to build and deliver travel experiences on iOS and Android in London, a 12-month contract with hybrid working and umbrella company requirement.

Approximately 50% of your time is spent actively designing and developing the mobile app, with the rest focused on people leadership and delivery management across multiple teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Hands-on mobile engineer with iOS/Swift or Android/Kotlin experience.
• Proven mobile delivery across production apps.
• Technical leadership and architecture influence.
• Experience leading 10–20 engineers in complex tech orgs.
• Delivery leadership across multiple teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and collaboration.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Responsabilités

• Actively design, develop, test and deliver production mobile features.
• Be a hands-on engineer in Swift/iOS or Kotlin/Android.
• Lead architecture decisions and code reviews with hands-on problem solving.
• Deliver mobile releases to Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
• Coordinate delivery across engineering, product, design and other teams for complex programs.
• Mentor engineers and build a high-performing engineering culture.
• Communicate with senior stakeholders and drive alignment.
