Job summary

Renishaw are seeking an enthusiastic trainer to join the Training Team at our Woodchester site, delivering practical, face-to-face training across core manufacturing skills including hand soldering and PCB rework. You will develop materials, maintain training records and schedule courses to improve workforce capability and product quality.

The role requires strong communication, organisational abilities and flexibility to travel between Renishaw locations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with hand soldering and electronic assembly.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
• Ability to adapt training to different learning styles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver face-to-face training across manufacturing and assembly skills.
• Develop, review and maintain training materials.
• Maintain training records and documentation, electronically and on paper.
• Coordinate and schedule new starter, refresher and skills training courses.
• Support onboarding of new assembly operators.
• Monitor trainee progress and provide feedback for skill development.
• Promote best practice and adherence to quality and process standards.
