Job summary

Renishaw is seeking a Field Service Engineer based in Gloucestershire, UK to install, commission and support additive manufacturing systems. You will train customer machine operators, perform remote and on-site support, and carry out scheduled maintenance for the Renishaw AM product line.

You will diagnose faults, calibrate systems, test performance, collect data and generate reports while maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring timely service visits.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or degree in mechanical, electrical or machine automation.
• Full European driving license.
• Experience in testing/calibration of mechanical, electrical, and optical systems.
• Experience of onsite installation, commissioning, and training.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission AM systems.
• Provide training and remote/on-site support for operators.
• Perform scheduled service and maintenance for AM products.
• Handle customer repairs, on-site diagnostics, fault finding and calibration.
• Test performance, collect data, and write reports.
• Manage customer relationships and ensure timely service visits.
• Submit expenses and timesheets on time.
