You will support maintenance, installation, commissioning and continuous improvements to ensure equipment safety, reliability and efficiency, within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

This permanent role offers a £45,000 salary, a varied remit across maintenance and project engineering, and a supportive team that fosters practical engineering skill development.

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineering or maintenance experience.
• Strong fault-finding ability (mechanical and/or electrical).
• Background in manufacturing or production environments.
• Proactive approach to safety and improvement.
• Able to work independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Support planned and reactive maintenance across production equipment.
• Fault find and repair mechanical and electrical systems.
• Assist with installation, relocation and commissioning of machinery.
• Support automation upgrades and process improvements.
• Carry out fabrication, fitting and equipment adjustments.
• Assist with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering, production and maintenance teams.
• Support contractors during service and installation work.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and site performance.
