Job summary

CV Technical Limited is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to maintain and repair production machinery and minimise downtime at our Newark site. This permanent, full-time role is on-site with day shifts, Monday to Friday, and offers a competitive salary of £45,000-£50,000 per annum.

You will perform planned, preventative and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and work on conveyors, motors, gearboxes, bearings and other equipment, contributing to safe, efficient operations and continuous

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical maintenance experience.
• Manufacturing/production background preferred
• Welding and fabrication skills
• Good fault-finding and fitting ability
• Electrical experience desirable
• Full driving licence
• Practical, reliable and self-motivated

Responsibilities

• Planned, preventative and reactive maintenance
• Breakdown response and fault finding
• Mechanical repairs and root-cause analysis
• Conveyors, motors, gearboxes, bearings, belts, chains and pneumatic systems
• Industrial processing, shredding, screening and material-handling equipment
