Job summary

GTS International in Warrington is seeking a hands-on Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy site. You will carry out PPM and reactive maintenance across machinery, diagnosing faults and implementing improvements to minimise downtime while maintaining safety.

The role requires a strong electrical and/or mechanical background, experience in manufacturing environments, and a proactive approach to problem solving within a supportive engineering team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a multi-skilled maintenance engineering role.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding abilities.
• Experience in manufacturing/production/industrial environment.
• A recognized engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC or equivalent).
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical and mechanical faults.
• Respond to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
• Record maintenance activities and faults.
• Install, modify and improve machinery when required.
• Support continuous improvement and engineering projects.
