Job summary

Peaple Talent seeks a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for our Trafford Park site. The role involves hands-on electrical and mechanical maintenance of a range of production plant within a busy manufacturing environment.

You'll work on planned, predictive and reactive tasks, solving faults quickly to maximise plant availability and reduce unplanned downtime. The role requires an engineering apprenticeship and strong fault-finding skills across 3-phase motors, PLC systems and pneumatic

Qualifications

• Requires an engineering apprenticeship with formal qualification.
• Experience performing planned and reactive maintenance.
• Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with 3-phase motors and control systems.
• Understanding PLC-controlled machinery.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned, predictive and reactive maintenance across production plant and equipment.
• Respond to breakdowns and unplanned plant stoppages.
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults.
• Perform daily plant monitoring inspections and routine equipment checks.
• Keep accurate maintenance records (Maximo).
• Support continuous improvement projects to improve plant reliability.
