Brightsmith is seeking a hands-on Production Engineer for a low-carbon manufacturing operation in Manchester. You will help establish and scale pilot production, bringing new equipment online and refining processes to improve output, quality and reliability during commissioning and ramp-up.

You will develop practical workflows, assist with equipment selection and installation, and work closely with the team to build a safe, efficient facility from the ground up.

Competenze

• Practical production/manufacturing/process engineering experience.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and own engineering problems on the shop floor.
• Experience in setting up or improving production lines or equipment.

Mansioni

• Develop production workflows and equipment layouts for new processes.
• Support equipment selection, installation and commissioning.
• Establish operating procedures and train operators.
• Troubleshoot start-up and ongoing equipment and process issues.
• Identify bottlenecks and improve throughput and reliability.
• Collaborate with suppliers, contractors and project team for safe, efficient operations.
