Job summary

The Advocate Group has been appointed to support a global FMCG business with a short-term HR Generalist role at their busy North Essex site. This hands-on position will be the main point of contact for employees and managers, providing day-to-day HR support and ensuring professional HR service across the site.

The initial contract is around three months, with pro-rata salary and the chance to make an immediate impact in a busy operation.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main HR point of contact for the site.
• Provide day-to-day HR advice and support to employees and managers.
• Manage and support employee relations matters.
• Support contractual changes and queries.
• Handle HR administration and employee queries.
• Support payroll-related queries and issues.
• Assist with training sessions and other people-related activity.
• Support managers with HR processes and provide practical guidance.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Prioritise competing tasks and respond to issues promptly.
• Ensure a consistent, professional HR service across the site.
