Job summary

Eden Scott is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor for a well-established manufacturing business in Central Scotland. The role is hands-on, spending significant time in warehouse environments, driving safe, compliant operations across multiple sites and engaging with employees at all levels.

You will conduct inspections, support risk assessments, investigations, inductions and training, maintain HSE documentation, and ensure COSHH, PUWER and RIDDOR compliance.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH General Certificate required.
• 2–3 years of Health & Safety experience in a similar environment.
• Experience in manufacturing, production, logistics or related operations is desirable.
• Confident communicator with strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct workplace inspections and audits across sites.
• Support risk assessments and safe systems of work.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses; drive corrective actions.
• Deliver inductions, toolbox talks and training; manage contractor processes.
• Maintain health and safety documentation; ensure COSHH, PUWER and RIDDOR compliance.
