Glendale is seeking a hands-on Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to oversee multiple contracts across Exeter and surrounding areas. You will lead on-site teams, set clear standards for quality and productivity, and work closely with the Contract Manager to ensure safe, efficient delivery.

This role balances practical site work with team supervision, inspections and client liaison. A horticultural qualification and good IT skills are beneficial, and a company vehicle is provided along with bonus

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and support grounds maintenance teams across multiple contracts
• Maintain a visible presence on site and work alongside operatives when required
• Set clear daily expectations for workload, productivity and quality
• Ensure teams understand their schedules, site requirements and work specifications
• Carry out site inspections and address quality or performance issues promptly
