Job summary

Adecco is seeking an experienced Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to oversee day-to-day outdoor maintenance across multiple sites, ensuring high-quality results and safe working practices throughout the year. You will supervise at least one team member, carry out grass cutting, shrub and hedge work, weed control and leaf clearance, and report progress using the mobile workforce system.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in grounds maintenance is essential.
• Experience supervising others is desirable, although this could suit someone ready to progress into their first supervisory role.
• Full, clean UK driving licence essential.
• PA1 and PA6 spraying qualifications required; PA2 would be advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in the quality of your work.
• Comfortable working across different sites.
• Able to work outdoors throughout the year and in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable, practical and confident working as part of a small team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day grounds maintenance activities across multiple sites.
• Supervise at least one team member and ensure work meets required standards.
• Grass cutting, hedge cutting, shrub and flower bed maintenance, and leaf clearance.
• Weed control and spraying as part of routine maintenance.
• Record daily work and checks using an electronic mobile workforce system.
• Respond to requests and resolve issues efficiently.
