Job summary

COREcruitment is seeking a General Manager for an independent restaurant in Suffolk. This hands-on role puts you on the floor, leading a small team and collaborating closely with the Head Chef to sustain exceptional dining standards.

You will drive commercial performance, develop the team, and explore the potential of seven bedrooms. Relocation or accommodation support may be available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Quality-led restaurant background (Michelin, Rosette or premium independents).
• Love being on the floor, engage with guests, serve tables and discuss wine.
• Wine knowledge is important; WSET Level 2 preferred with possible training.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team and work closely with the Head Chef as the face of the business.
• Maintain high standards and ensure outstanding food, wine and service.
• Develop the team and take ownership of the wider business, including seven bedrooms.
• Drive commercial performance with a hands-on, on-floor leadership style.
