Job summary

Professional Construction Recruitment Ltd is seeking a hands-on Foreman / Assistant Site Manager for a Tier 1 contractor on a project in Friston. The role focuses on leading on-site activities, coordinating steelwork and cladding, and maintaining safety and quality.

You will walk the site, drive progress with subcontractors, and partner with the Site Management team to keep the programme on track. Strong communication, leadership, and CSCS/SMSTS are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as Foreman or Assistant Site Manager in construction.
• CSCS and SMSTS/SSSTS or SSSTS qualifications preferred.
• Strong on-site leadership and ability to coordinate trades.

Responsibilities

• Walking the site regularly to monitor progress and identify issues.
• Coordinating subcontractors and trades to maintain momentum and meet programme targets.
• Overseeing structural steelwork and cladding activities, ensuring safety and quality.
• Identifying delays or coordination issues and resolving them proactively.
• Working with the Site Management team to coordinate upcoming activities and keep progress on track.
• Maintaining high standards of health and safety, quality and housekeeping.
• Communicating effectively with subcontractors, site teams and senior management.
