Job summary

Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment is actively recruiting for a Production Operative in Somercotes, DE55. The role is a hands-on, physical position with a 12-week temp-to-perm pathway. You will work 6:00am–2:00pm, with a 30-minute paid break, and be involved in assembly, gluing, labeling and loading tasks.

Previous production or warehouse experience is advantageous, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key to success in this long-term opportunity.

Qualifications

• Experience in production/manufacturing is advantageous but not required.
• Able to perform manual handling and physical work.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Good attention to detail and able to follow instructions.
• Team player with a long-term employment mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and produce foam and seat cushion components.
• Glue foam using water-based adhesive.
• Fabricate and assemble parts by hand.
• Label, inspect and check finished products.
• Stack products and load/unload vehicles.
• Follow health and safety procedures.
