Job summary

Jomo People in Bridgend is seeking an Accounts & Bookkeeping Executive for a growing, family-founded manufacturing business where people matter. The role covers sales and purchase ledgers, credit control and reporting.

You should have significant accounts/bookkeeping experience, be proficient with Sage and MS Office, and bring strong time, task and communication skills to a hands-on finance function.

Qualifications

• Significant recent experience in an accounts/bookkeeping role.
• Experience using Sage or similar finance software with formal training.
• Excellent time and task management skills and ability to juggle priorities.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of Sales and Purchase Ledgers, including postings and month-end close.
• Manage credit control, following up overdue invoices and debtor days.
• Process BACS payments, expenses, company cards and bank transactions.
• Set up new customer and supplier accounts and perform credit checks.
• Produce Sage reports and daily management information for VAT returns and accounts.
• Maintain CRM, stock and accounts processes and document procedures.
