Job summary

TJENG is recruiting a Production Supervisor to lead a skilled manufacturing team on the shop floor. You will ensure production runs safely, efficiently and on schedule, while developing staff and driving improvements in quality, productivity and delivery.

The role requires hands-on leadership in metal fabrication environments, with responsibility for day-to-day priorities and cross-functional collaboration to solve production issues and reduce costs.

Qualifications

• Strong background in metal fabrication/manufacturing (welding/metal forming).
• Previous production supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong people-management and communication skills.
• Experience with ERP/MRP and standard IT tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate day-to-day shop-floor production.
• Allocate labour and resources to meet changing production demands.
• Monitor quality, productivity and delivery performance.
• Manage absence, holidays, performance and general team development.
• Maintain high standards of Health & Safety and shop-floor discipline.
• Troubleshoot production issues and work collaboratively with other departments.
• Drive continuous improvement, efficiency and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Develop skills within the team through training and multi-skilling.
