Job summary

Pigment is hiring an Engineering Manager who remains hands-on with code while taking on people-management responsibilities. You will spend about 80% of time designing, coding and shipping production features, and 20% coaching engineers and guiding their development.

You will join a team building sophisticated frontend experiences to help customers interact with complex data, configure workflows and make better business decisions.

Qualifications

• Substantial professional software engineering experience at a strong Senior Engineer level.
• Hands-on with production code and modern frontend stack.
• Experience coaching, mentoring or leading engineers.

Responsibilities

• Write, review, and ship production frontend code using React/TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Design and build sophisticated user interfaces for large datasets.
• Own engineering tasks from design through testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Tech Leads to deliver features.
• Contribute to AI-powered product experiences when appropriate.
