Job summary

Pigment is hiring a senior frontend engineering manager to lead scalable UI work and mentor a team of up to six engineers. You will drive performance improvements, collaborate with product, design, and data teams, and translate user needs into high-quality interfaces.

Ideal candidates have 7–8+ years in software engineering, 2–3+ years in people management, and strong frontend skills (TypeScript, JavaScript, CSS, React/Vue/Angular).

Qualifications

• Senior frontend engineering experience in production systems.
• 2-3 years of people management experience.
• Proven frontend tech stack experience (TypeScript/JS/CSS, React/Vue/Angular).
• Fluent English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable frontend interfaces.
• Improve frontend performance and UX.
• Mentor up to six reports; define expectations and growth plans.
• Lead ad hoc projects and support performance reviews.
• Bridge product needs with customer value in delivery.
