Hunters' client is a world-leading engineering manufacturer in West Sussex seeking an Engineering Assembly Operative. You will assemble, build and test electrical and mechanical products to high standards, using hand tools and testing equipment.

The role offers full training, opportunities to progress within the engineering field, and excellent overtime opportunities. A practical, detail-focused mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent manual dexterity with a strong eye for detail and quality.
• Previous experience in assembly, manufacturing, production or a similar hands-on environment would be advantageous
• Keen to learn new technical skills and develop within an engineering environment
• Positive team player with good communication and organisational skills

Responsibilities

• Assemble, build and test specialist electrical and mechanical products to high standards
• Use a range of hand tools, production equipment and testing equipment
• Develop specialist manufacturing skills including soldering and brazing
• Carry out inspections and testing to ensure products meet required specifications
• Work as part of a skilled production team, supporting quality, efficiency and continuous improvement
