Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an Electrical Engineer in Nottingham to provide electrical design and technical support across existing products. You will work with production, purchasing, service and sales, updating drawings and selecting components.

This production‑focused role involves maintaining electrical documentation and collaborating on a range of bespoke machinery for a global customer base. The position is office‑based with shop floor visits, offering ownership of your work within a

Qualifications

At least five years' relevant experience in electrical engineering.
Background in manufacturing, machinery or similar environment.
Experience with electrical systems up to 400V three‑phase.
Knowledge of wiring diagrams and control panel schematics.
Ability to investigate problems and implement effective solutions.

Responsibilities

Produce and update electrical circuit diagrams and control panel schematics.
Select components including motors, pumps, switches, sensors and instrumentation.
Specify fuses, protection and cable sizes for safe operation.
Work with 400V three‑phase systems and power/control connections.
Update technical documentation and CAD drawings as components change.
Support production, purchasing, service and sales with electrical queries.
