Our client is a well–established, third–generation family business with a history dating back to the 1940 s
They design and manufacture electric motors, pumps, gearboxes and specialist industrial equipment, supplying industries including mining, quarrying, food processing and manufacturing.
With around 110 employees, they offer a complete cradle–to–grave service, with design, CNC machining, fabrication, electrical assembly and testing all carried out in–house.
This is a hands–on, design–focused role where you will take ownership of mechanical design across vibratory motors and specialist plant equipment, while also getting involved in the electrical side of the products.
The role is predominantly mechanical design, with the opportunity to use and develop your electrical knowledge through motor testing, fault finding and performance validation.
Working closely with manufacturing, sales and other engineers, you will see your designs through from concept to production.
This is a great opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer who wants to broaden their technical knowledge and work on genuinely bespoke industrial products.
You will have the freedom to take ownership of your designs, work closely with manufacturing and develop your skills across both mechanical and electrical engineering.
