Holmes House is seeking a compassionate caregiver to join our residential care home in Wigston. You will provide hands-on personal care to elderly residents, including those living with dementia, and support them to stay as independent as possible.

This role involves assisting with daily activities and building a supportive relationship with residents to ensure dignity and comfort. Training and development opportunities are offered as part of a welcoming team.

Qualificações

• Experience in personal care tasks.
• Ability to support residents with daily activities.

Responsabilidades

• Support residents with personal hygiene, washing, dressing and grooming.
• Assist with eating and drinking, encouraging meals and fluids as needed.
• Provide continence care and maintain residents’ dignity.
• Support mobility and everyday activities.
• Provide compassionate care to residents including those with dementia.
• Build positive relationships to help residents feel safe and valued.
• Encourage participation in activities.
• Work as part of a team to deliver high-quality care.
