Job summary

Holmes House in Wigston is seeking compassionate staff to join our residential care team, helping residents with dignity, comfort and as much independence as possible.

This hands-on role covers personal care tasks such as hygiene, dressing, feeding, continence and mobility, including support for residents living with dementia.

You will work in a supportive team, participate in activities, build trusting relationships and help create a safe, respectful environment where every resident feels valued.

• Providing continence care and support, including changing and maintaining residents’ dignity and comfort.
• Supporting residents with mobility and everyday activities.
• Providing compassionate care to residents living with dementia and other health conditions.
• Building positive relationships with residents and helping them feel safe, respected and valued.
• Taking part in our activities programme and encouraging residents to participate where appropriate.
• Working as part of a supportive team to ensure residents receive consistent, high-quality care.

What The Role Involves

As a member of our care team, you will play an important role in supporting our residents to live with dignity, comfort and as much independence as possible.

This is a hands-on care role, and you will need to be comfortable and prepared to provide all aspects of personal care, including:
