Job summary

Bimplus is seeking a hands-on Contracts Manager with experience running commercial construction projects to join its design, build and maintenance team, focusing on leisure and hospitality sectors.

The role requires managing multiple projects from inception to snagging, keeping costs and timescales on track while maintaining strong client relationships and coordinating with subcontractors and the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Excellent time keeping and ability to manage own workload and work to deadlines.
• A passion for delivering a professional service and quality product.
• Ideal candidate will be friendly, proactive, have good organisational skills and have a high attention to detail.
• Must have excellent IT skills - Microsoft skills including Excel, Outlook and Project are essential
• Professional qualification in project management desirable
• Experience of working in hospitality sector advantageous
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

• Appoint and monitor labour and site management for each project
• Control and analyse labour costs with the project QS
• Produce project programmes and minutes; compile contractor reports
• Attend client and contracts meetings
• Manage snagging works and sign‑offs
• Record variations and liaise with QS team
• Oversee site health and safety from pre-contract to completion
• Promote commercial awareness on-site projects
• Coordinate with supply chain for compliance and setup
• Lead snagging and handover meetings with the design team
